UrbaQuantum Joins the ZeroPollution4Water and ICT4Water Clusters
UrbaQuantum has taken an important step to strengthen its European impact by joining the ZeroPollution4Water (ZP4W) and ICT4Water clusters—two key initiatives bringing together projects, organisations, and experts working to advance innovation, digitalisation, and sustainability in the water sector across Europe.
By joining ZeroPollution4Water, UrbaQuantum aligns closely with the objectives of the European Zero Pollution Strategy, contributing to the reduction of chemical pollutants, pathogens, and microplastics in urban water systems. Participation in this cluster will enable the project to share results, compare methodologies, and enhance the scientific and technical impact of its monitoring and modelling solutions. Membership in ICT4Water further strengthens UrbaQuantum’s digital dimension, fostering collaboration in areas such as advanced sensing technologies, digital platforms, digital twins, and data analytics for smarter and more efficient water management. This collaborative environment opens new opportunities for interoperability, solution replicability, and synergies with other innovative European initiatives.
Through these memberships, UrbaQuantum consolidates its role within the European water research and innovation ecosystem, expanding its collaboration network and maximising the visibility and exploitation of its results during and beyond the project’s lifetime.
